It is with great sadness that the family of the late Judith Madonna Gillis announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the age of 51 years. She will be sadly missed by two sons: Julian Hulan of Loch Leven, Jacques Hulan (Angelique) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and her grandmother, Freda Gillis of St. Fintan’s, one brother, Craig (Marcella) Gillis of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, one grandchild Zachary and her nieces: Jasmine, Lucy and nephew Douglas. She was predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Catherine Gillis. Cremation has taken place and friends may call at St. Columcille Church in St. Fintan’s on Friday, April 15th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, April 16th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Columcille Church in St. Fintan’s with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Highlands. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to a charity of one’s choice would be great appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Stephenville.
