Passed peacefully Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge of Ruth MacDonald formerly of Stratford, age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late George MacDonald, loving mother of Kathy MacDonald (Alan Moore), Marjorie MacDonald (Steve Totten) and George MacDonald. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Adele Craswell (Ira) and June Middleton (Bob). She was predeceased by her parents Sylvan and Doris (nee Mutch) Pippy and sister Pearl Pippy. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the Stratford Chapel - Hillsboro Funeral Home on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvin Presbyterian Cemetery, Mermaid.
