Passed peacefully away on Monday, August 3rd, 2009, surrounded by her loving family, Theresa Marie Curtis, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 83rd year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: John (Helen), Jean (Mrs. Lawrence Young), Louise (Mrs. Gerald Gordon), all of Deer Lake, Dennis of Fort McMurray, Alberta, William (Myra) of Deer Lake, Francis (Lorna) of Reidville, Michael (Rhoda), Gary, Linda (Mrs. Winston Vatcher), Clifford, Sean, all of Deer Lake, Bob (Phoebe) of Fort McMurray, Alberta and Brian of Deer Lake; her 24 grandchildren: Connie, Steve, Eddie, Nicole, Dion, Chad, Cory, Jenna, Brenda, Tina, Gerry, Johnny, Gary, Tanya, Nicky, Dion, Melissa, Peter, Liam, Liana, Suzanne, Lyndon (Sr.), Michelle, Jason; 22 great-grandchildren: Curtis, Sandi, Tyson, Rachel, Darby, Jeremy, Emily, Rylan, Gabby, Jamie, Brandon, Lyndon (Jr.), Daniel, Breanna, Christopher, Matthew, Michael, Brooke, Caedance, Bryan, Alexander and Rachel; three great-great-grandchildren: Faith, Eliana and Emily; her sister, Mrs. Mary Ann (Earl Jefferies); her brother, Richard (Sybil) O\'Driscoll, both of Deer Lake; her two special friends: Edith Roberts and Delia Hinks. Mother was predeceased by her husband, Frank Curtis; son, Peter; daughter, Mary Ann; brother, Michael O\'Driscoll. Also leaves to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake on Wednesday, August 5th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, August 6th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. from the Roman Catholic Church in Deer Lake, Father Gordon Grace officiating. Burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery, Wights Road, Deer Lake.
