At Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary, on Thursday, April 14, 2011, Dorothy “Dollie” Richard, aged 87 years, wife of the late Raymond Richard.
Born in O’Leary on December 7, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna Ellis. Dear mother of Calvin (Linda) Jelley, Unionvale. Loving grandmother to Brian (Mary) Jelley, Boyd Jelley, Crystal Elliott, Kay (Billy) Getson and Blake (Theresa) Jelley, as well as 10 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother Robert Ellis, California and sister Jennie Wood, O’Leary.
Predeceased by parents; first husband Avard Jelley; second husband Raymond Richard; brothers Elwood, Foster, Jack, Garfield, Freeman; sister Nellie; and great-grandson Jamie Getson.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Sunday 2-5 p.m. Funeral service on Monday, April 18, 2011, in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in Bethel United Church Cemetery.
