It is with heavy hearts that the family of Clyde Rendell Harris announce his passing on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital, after a short battle with cancer at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Avril, of 52 years, daughter Connie; sister Berta (Baxter) Mugford of St. John's; sisters and brothers-in-law Williams Parsons, Edgar King, Helen Harris, Jean (Eric) Head, John (Estelle) Davis, Lorraine Brake (Cyril), Melvin (June) Davis; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father Elsie and Walter Harris; sisters Eudora and Katie; brother Elyard; mother and father-in-law John and Margaret Davis; sister-in-law Irene Anderson. The family will be receiving friends at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Meadows on Monday, July 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10-12 a.m. from where the funeral will take place on Tuesday, August 1 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery in Meadows. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Palliative Care Unit.
