Passed peacefully away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Health Science Centre, Edmund Frederick Gosse, age 83 years. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Mary Gosse (nee Kavanagh); brothers Joseph and Dick; sisters Margaret and Amelia. Leaving to mourn his beloved wife of 62 years Marie (nee Brophy); his precious daughter Lynn who cared for her father during his illness; son-in-law Peter Graham; grandson Peter and great-granddaughter Taylor. Also leaving to mourn his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Brophy family and their spouses. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the professional and caring staff of the Coronary Care Unit at the Health Science Centre. At Ed's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from Corpus Christi Parish, Waterford Bridge Road at 9:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Corpus Christi Parish.
