The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, July 30, 2017 of Janet Marie Gallant (nee Kelly) of Kinkora, aged 75 years. Wife of Lloyd Gallant, Kinkora and mother of Debbie (Donnie) DesRoche, AB; David (Barb) Gallant, AB; Dianne (Gordon) Lee, ON; Cathy Anne (Kip) Noonan, Summerside and Donna (Harleigh) MacLeod, Kinkora. Grandmother of Patricia, Crystal and Glen DesRoche; Braden Gallant; Robert and Patrick Lee and Carleigh and Mandy MacLeod. Sister of Gerry (Maureen) Kelly, ON; Gene (Winnie) Kelly ON; Brian (Marie) Kelly, Wilshire; Colin (Anne) Kelly, ON; Barry (Guelda) Kelly, Charlottetown and Virginai (Allan) Ellis, AB. Sister-in-law of Mary Keefe and Cyril (Vi) Gallant. Predeceased by Earl and Mary Kelly (parents), John C. and Lena Gallant (father and mother-in-law), Edna Leard, St. Clair Gallant, Florence Gallant, Raymond Gallant, Alban Gallant, Eileen MacKenzie, and Rose Marie Gallant. Visitation at Kinkora Place, Kinkora on Wednesday, August 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora on Thursday, August 3 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
