Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Centre on Monday, July 31, 2017, Janette King of Fox Harbour. Predeceased by her husband Donald, parents Bill and Jane Murray, brother Robert, sister Madeline, father and mother-in-law Michael and Rosella King, sister-in-law Rosemary Dreaddy, brothers-in-law Ronald Spurvey, Jim Duke and Leo Duke. Leaving with fond memories her sons Paul (Yvonne) and Don (Renee); daughters Lisa (Andy Spurvey) and Jill (Trevor Walsh); grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Michael, Alyson, Mark, Abby, Emily, Kendall and Cameron; sisters Gertrude, Laura, Ethel, Margaret, Ann (Anslem), Marion (Joe) and Jean (Dave); and brother Mike (Kit). Special thanks to our number one nurse Kelly Culleton, who never left our sides. Also special thanks to the nurses of Placentia Health Centre for their exceptional care of our mother. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Tuesday, August 1 from 7-9 pm, and on Wednesday, August 2 from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to be held 10 am on Thursday, August 3 at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour. Cremation to follow with inurnment at a later date.
