Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, following a courageous year long battle with cancer on Monday, July 31, 2017, James "Jimmy" Garberg, age 55 years. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Ole Garberg; daughter Meghan; sister Sharon Garberg; nephew Terry Mayo and special friend Tony Hamilton. Leaving to mourn, children: Jimmy, Shane, Jordan, Monica and granddaughter Kileigh; sisters: Mary, Sheila, Barb, Linda, Cathy and Judy; brothers: Eddy and Shawn; a very special nephew and caretaker, Darrell; special friends and buddies: Gary Dunne, Bill Ryall, Randy Mercer Terry Mayo and Denise; plus a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, August 3, from 10 am - 9 pm. Funeral service to take place at Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 2 pm with cremation to follow. Burial will take place at Kilbride Roman Catholic Cemetery on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11 am.
