It is with great sadness that we, the family of Kenneth Timbury announce his sudden passing on April 14, 2011 in Halifax.
Born in North Sydney, he was the son of Geraldine (Cox ) Timbury, North Sydney; and the late George Timbury.
Kenny is survived by his wife Alice (Snow) Timbury; his children, sons, Brandon, Kenny and Kevin; daughters, Jillian, Kelsey and step-daughter, Cailin Ferguson; grandchildren, Cody, Jordan and Ethan.
As well as his mother, he is survived by two brothers George and Lawrence (Patricia) of North Sydney; three sisters Leah (David), Tracy, North Sydney and Kelly (Donnie), Regina, Sask; also several nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles.
Kenny was predeceased by his father, George; his maternal grandparents, Freeman and Shirley Cox; paternal grandfather, Ken Timbury.
Visitation for Kenny will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. Funeral service will be held Monday, 3:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, North Sydney, with Rev. Carl Fraser, officiating. Burial at a later date in Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney.
