Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L.A Miller Centre on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her husband Llewelyn; parents George and Eliza Weir; brothers: Ronald, Allen, John and Clarence; sisters: Muriel and Clara; brothers-in-law: Jim, Mack, Howard, Errol and Patrick; sisters-in-law: Olive, Rita and Beatrice. Leaving to mourn her two children: Margot (Wilbert) Crann and Harrison (Mary); five grandchildren: John (Melissa), Amanda (Shawn), Charmaine (Jeff), Christopher and Jason; four great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Olivia, Jack and Addison; brother David; sisters: Mary, Catherine and Laura; sisters-in-law: Gladys and Edna. Also leaving to mourn a very special young lady, who Olive loved dearly Keshia, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Flowers gratefully accepted or donation can be made to a charity of one's choice. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, August 5 from 7-9 pm and Sunday, August 6 from 10 am - 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, Petty Harbour on Monday, August 7 at 2 pm, interment to follow at St. George's Anglican Cemetery, Petty Harbour.
