The family of the late Shirley Hawley would like to thank all who helped Shirley in her last days. The professionalism of the Glace Bay General Hospital, the doctors, nurses and staff who have been patient and understanding with Shirley over the years was greatly appreciated. Thank you to the pallbearers, Gerard Gouthro, Bob Morrison, Craig Morrison, Mark MacDonald, Mick MacIntryre and Greg Theil. Our thanks to St. Anne’s Church, Father Boone, the choir, organist, altar servers, hospitality committee and readers – Marilyn and Stephanie Campbell. Our appreciation to Curry’s Funeral Home and Staff. Thank you to the “MacDonald’s” who formed an honor guard. Our sincere appreciation to the residents of Chapel Drive – especially the Morrison’s, Theil’s, Campbell’s, Kavanaugh’s and Gouthro’s. You were always generous with your time and seemed always there for her. Thank you.
