Passed away on August 9, 2017, at Kenny's Pond Retirement Living, St. John's, Regina Sullivan RN, (formerly of Calvert, Southern Shore) at the age of 73. Regina was a Graduate of St. Clare's Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1965. Throughout her extensive nursing career, Regina made many contributions to health care in Newfoundland, Northern and Western Canada. Regina is predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Sullivan, sisters: Linda (2002) and Maureen (2012). Leaving to mourn her son Hugues Lalande (Kathleen) and granddaughter Anais; brothers: Jerome (Peggy, deceased, April 2017), Eddie and David (Mamie); brother-in-law Lloyd Sullivan (Dolores); many nieces and nephews. Regina also leaves behind a large circle of relatives and friends from near and far as well as her nursing colleagues. At Regina's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 2-9 pm at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John's. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 12, 2017, 11 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Calvert. Inurnment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
