It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene Rose announce her passing after 10 years of a courageous battle with cancer. She passed at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on August 9, 2017 at the age of 71 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 46 years, Wayne, her three daughters Michelle (Eldon) of Stephenville, Cherie (Junior) of Stephenville and Darlene (Kyle) of Burlington, Ontario. Also leaving to mourn her three grandchildren of Stephenville Kyle, Cameron and Caden, four sisters Myrtle of Port aux Basques, Cora (John) of Port aux Basques, Louise (Kenny) of Codroy Valley, Carolyn (Nazaire) of Labrador City and a wide circle of close relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Walter Buttery and her sister Wanda Luedee. Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Russell's Funeral Home in Stephenville with the funeral taking place on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 2 pm at Salvation Army Citadel in Stephenville. Interment will follow at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
