Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, August 10, 2017, Gwenanne King of Carbonear, age 67 years. Predeceased by husband Richard 'Dick'; parents: Jack and Norma Penney. Leaving to mourn, one daughter Katherine, Carbonear; one son Timothy, Carbonear; five grandchildren: Cassie, Veronica, Bobbie Joe, Lily and Diamond; one brother Tolson (Adelle) Penney, Nova Scotia; two sisters: Kate Rorke, British Columbia and Winnifred (Frank) Noel, St. John's; special aunts: Bernice Pelley and Ruth Penney; special friend Edith Butt; also a large number nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, August 15 at 2 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel.
