Findlay W. Morrison
We, the family of the late Findlay Morrison, wish to express our most sincere thanks and gratitude to our families, friends, relatives and those who travelled from away to be with us, during our sudden loss. We appreciated those who phoned, sent e-mails, visited our homes, sent food, flowers, Mass cards, Sympathy cards and generously made donation to various charities. To Fr. Duaine Devereaux, Allyson and Our Lady of Fatima Bereavement team for their continuous assistance and kindness, along with Allan O’Donnell’s selection and singing of the beautiful hymns to give Findlay such an emotional send off.
Thank you to all who participated in the funeral service; the readers; Findlay’s nieces: Elizabeth Morrison, Kansas Gallagher, and nephew Khiari Lespere, the pallbearers: brother, Clifford and close friends, Eugene MacLean, Jerry Wall and Dave Mercer. A very special thank you to the C.B.R.M Police for their traffic control on route to the church and the amazing honor guard upon our arrival. Findlay would have been so humbled. Also to the Police who visited our home to share some heart-warming stories, which were so appreciated and welcomed.
Thanks to the Lazarus Committee for providing and serving the delicious lunch following the service. Heartfelt thanks to the staff and residents of MacGillivary Guest Home for visiting, supporting and comforting Findlay’s mother, Mavis. It was greatly appreciated and gave the family such a peace of mind.
The family cannot thank the C.B.R. Hospital I.C.U. and Palliative Care staff enough for their care, concern and continued thoughtfulness toward Findlay, during his illness.
A big thank you to the management and staff of T.W. Curry Funeral Home, who displayed such professionalism and compassion during this a difficult time.
