Passed peacefully away at St. Luke's Home on August 24th, 2017, Florence (Bursey) Rideout age 96. Predeceased by her loving husband, Ronald, her baby son Ronnie, her parents Mary Ann and William John Bursey. Left with fond and loving memories her son David (Bertha), daughter Maxine (Ebb), grandchildren Rod (JoAnn), Brad (Lori), Shawn (Tammy), Tony (Beverly), great-grandchildren Madison, Samantha, Logan, Jenna, Alyssa, Joel, Matthew and Jack, Sisters Mabel Taylor and Harriet Porter, sisters-in-law Joan Bursey and Pat Bursey. As well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A very special thank you to the staff at St. Luke's for their excellent care of mom. Sincere gratitude is extended to Rev. Sam Butler for his many visits with her. He gave so much of his time and always made her laugh. Thanks also to Rev. Everett Hobbs who visited her many times while she was still in her home. Thanks also to Hickey's Funeral Home for their professional service. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday from 7 pm - 9 pm., Friday from 2 pm - 9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11 am from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Church Road, Foxtrap. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Cemetery Fund at All Saints in Foxtrap or to St. Luke's Home.
