Nellie Stagg, age 82, passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving friends on Thursday August 24, 2017 at the Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased by her loving husband Howard Stagg in 2015; her parents Alex Best and Jessie Skiffington. Leaving to mourn with loving and found memories her special furry canine companion Wendy; special and caring friends Edgar and Gussie Harris and their children and grandchildren Rob Harris, Sherri (Harold), Olivia and Ethan Moore; sisters-in-law Myrtle Stagg and Shirley Stagg (Norman); special neighbour Jean Babstock, nieces, nephews, special friends at Karwood Retirement Retreat and her roommate Velma Wheeler. We would like to extend a special thank you to the Karwood Retirement Retreat staff and the emergency room doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 7-9 pm, Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Monday, August 28, 2017 from 10 am - 12 pm. Funeral will be held at Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2 pm, interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
