It is with saddened hearts that we the family announced the peaceful passing of our dear loved one Leila Violet (nee Way) on August 25th, 2017. Predeceased by her husband William Joseph; parents Alexander and Hazel Way formerly of Brigus, sisters: Una Charles, Dorothy Lester and Ruth White. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons: Bill (Pam) Driscoll and Greg (Lynn) Driscoll; daughter: Delores (Fred)Taylor. Beloved granddaughters: Sandi (Chris) Martin and Pam (Chris) Browne, great-grandchildren: Carly, Will and Matthew. Also a number of special nieces, nephews and friends. Family extends thanks to the staff of Saint Luke's. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home 328, Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, August 26th and Sunday, August 27th from 2pm-4pm. Funeral service will be held at Barrett's Funeral Chapel, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, August 28th at 11am, interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Field of Honour.
