The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 27, 2017 of Noella Marie Jenkins (nee Peters) of Souris West age 77 years. Born in Charlottetown, she was the daughter of the late J. Arthur (Art) Peters and Millie Peters. She will be sadly missed by sons - Robbie (Cynthia) and Craig (Shanna MacDonald); nine cherished granddaughters - Candace Jenkins (Derek Shaw), Courtney Chisholm (Graham), Caylin, Chloe, Hannah, Aimee, Sophie, Ellen, and Amelia; five adored great-grandchildren - Sadie, Mae, and Ivy Chisholm and Jack and Millie MacAulay. Noella will be greatly missed by friend and constant companion Wayne MacDonald; siblings - Art Peters Jr., Jeanette Pirkey (Clyde) , Carl Peters (Anne), Joanne Paquet, Betty Lou McKenna (Reg), Shelly Grant (Peter), Claire Rogers (Joe Ed), Kenny Peters (Darlene); former husband and friend - Rollie Jenkins and brother-in-law Bert Bushey. She was predeceased by son - Little Rollie, and siblings Reggie Peters, Claude Peters, Paula Bushey, Baby Claire, sister-in-law Susan Peters and brother-in-law Wayne Paquet. Deeply loved by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. No visitation by personal request, with a private funeral for family only. Reception for friends and family at Montague Church of Christ, Montague, on Wednesday, August 30th at 5 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations to Souris Food Bank would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home Stratford.
