Passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 27, 2017, a day after her 81st birthday. Predeceased by her first husband Frederick Pittman (1984); parents Bert and Annie Gosse; and infant son Frederick Pittman. Leaving to mourn her husband Kevin Warr; children: Bruce (Josee) Pittman, Barbara (Shawn) Thomas, Jeffrey (Tracey) Pittman, Robert Pittman and Lisa (Sheldon) Roberts; grandchildren: Ian, Emilie, Anna, Simon, Laura, Jack, Sophie, Jesse, Ella, Braedy, Rachel and Luke; stepdaughters: Susan Warr and Michele (Gerry) Walsh; sisters: Melba (Gaetan) Lamoureux and Carol Walinga; special nephew Frederick Pittman; special sister-in-law Phyllis Dixon; as well as a wide circle of friends, including all at the Saint Luke's Day Program. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Tuesday, August 29, from 10 am - 12 noon, 2-4 pm; and 6-9 pm and on Wednesday, August 30, from 9-11 am. Funeral service will take place from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 12 noon, with cremation to follow. A private family interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.
