Our family is truly appreciative of the support and sympathy from family, friends, neighbors and co-workers during the recent loss of our mother. Such kind gestures of cards, phone calls, food, flowers, donations, on-line condolences and visits were very comforting and are testimony to what a great woman our mother was. Sincere thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses, staff and palliative care volunteers of the 4th floor of the Northside General Hospital as well as the En Cala Unit of the Cape Breton Regional. To Dr. Peter Poulos, we are grateful for the care and compassion you provided through the years and into mom’s final days. We would also like to thank Dr. K. Khodadad and all staff of the Cape Breton Cancer Center for your professional care. Our sincere gratitude is extended to Fr. Conrad Edwards, Fr. Everett McDow, Cathy Viva, Kelly Connors, Jolene Mancini, Sharon Ianetti and the choir, and all who celebrated mom’s funeral mass. To Kimberly Fraser and Aaron Lewis, the heart warming rendition of “Beautiful Point Aconi”, as per mom’s request, will forever be etched in our hearts. Special thanks to the ladies from Holy Family Parish CWL who provided the wonderful lunch afterwards in the church hall. Cecil and Iris, your visit and help with the mass preparation were greatly appreciated. To Manning and staff from J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, your kindness and professionalism eased our sorrow in this difficult time. Because mom’s faith was very strong, we know she is now at eternal rest and peace.
