Lorette "Loretta" Cormier
Lorette "Loretta" Cormier, 90, formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Monday April 18, 2011 at ProTem Residence in Moncton. Born on March 13, 1921 in Richibuctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late Jacques “Jim” and Azelda (Richard) Maillet. She is survived by two sisters-in-law: Lydia Maillet (late Albert) of Saint-Louis and Viola Cormier (late Antoine) of Fitchburgh, MA; one brother-in-law: Gérard Cormier (Jeanne) of Pepperell, MA, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband Léo (1962) and her brothers: Albert and André (late Régina).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. ONLY. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Sainte-Thérèse R.C. Church, 160, rue Ste-Thérèse, Dieppe, on Wednesday April 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
