New Glasgow - Marjorie Grace “Marge” (Fullerton) Fraser, age 82, of New Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Lyons Brook, she was a daughter of the late Mary (Heighton) and Len Fullerton. Marge is survived by her husband of 63 years, John; daughter, Joel (Bill); sons: Brad (Shelley), their daughters, Janetta (Nik), Lauren and Darcy; Blake (Michelle), his daughter, Randi; her sister, Kaye Hooper; her brother, Floyd (Judi); sister-in-law, Jean (Don Murray), and several nieces and nephews. Marge was predeceased by son Brent in infancy and her sister Jean Godden. Marge was a devoted member of Trinity United Church, a life member of UCW-Unit Iona and a lifetime member of the Aberdeen Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed being a member of the New Glasgow Gyro/Gyrette Club, the Saint Andrews Society, as well as the Telephone Pioneers. Marge enjoyed her weekly bridge games with her many friends. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Saturday, in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow. Funeral service 2:30 pm Sunday, in Trinity United Church, with Rev. Donna Tourneur officiating. Reception to follow. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Trinity United Church or a charity of your choice.
