It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maude Pafford announces her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre on Tuesday, April 19th, 2011 in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband James Pafford; parents: Harry and Maryann Durdle; brothers: Bob (Marion), Alec (Frances) Durdle; nieces: Fanny Butler and Myrtle Earle. Leaving to mourn nieces and nephews: Ruby Moore (Jim), Kay Woolridge (Tom), Peggy Keats (Cyril), Jean Huntsman, Ross Durdle and Harry Durdle; as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews and her extended family of the Paffords, the Parsons and the Rodways. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 21st at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Church, Clarence Street, Reverend Tanya White officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to All Saints Memorial Fund or to the charity of one’s choice.
