The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, of Mrs. Frances C. Dougan (nee McGuigan), of Donaldston and formerly of Charlottetown, age 56 years.
Beloved wife of the late Charles Dougan, and dear mother of Luke Dougan. Sister of Harry (Eileen Cheverie), Bernadine (David) McGregor, Eleanor (Paul) Gauthier, Gaylene (Ron) Smith, Leonard "Barney" (Brenda), Judy (Gerry) Connick, and Allan (Charmaine). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Grace (Hughes) McGuigan, and son Ronnie Joe.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Thursday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment later in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours at the funeral home on Wednesday 7-9 p.m.
