It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Brake announce his passing on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Irene; son David (BettyAnn); daughter Connie (Stacey); grandsons: Brent and Damien; sister Betty (Don) Wheeler; brothers-in-law: Charles (Sheila) Martyn, Barry (Irene) Martyn and Mike Brothers; sisters-in-law: Gertrude (Roger) Humber, Margaret Tobin, Marian McMaster and Anne (Dave) Brennan; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Leonard and Maisie Brake; brother Ted; parents-in-law: Charlie and Margaret Martyn; sisters-in-law: Connie Brothers and Kathleen Lee; and brothers-in-law: Dave Lee and Terry Tobin. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Wednesday, September 27 from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home's chapel on Thursday, September 28 at 10:30 am with Father Andrew White officiating.
