Gone from our lives - a son so dear,

Oct. 30, 1963 - Nov. 8, 2010.

Brian,
Softly within the shadows,
God gave a gentle call,
With farewells left unspoken,
You silently left us all,
Our hearts still ache with sadness,
And silent tears still flow,
For what it meant to lose you, son,
No one will ever know.

Until we meet again, we trust you both to God’s keeping and remember & cherish the happy times together.
Remembering you today, tomorrow and forever.

Neighbours and Friends.

We know you see our pain and want to banish it with the wave of a star. But have no star.

We know you see our tears and want to dry them with the hem of an angel’s gown.
But you have no angel.

We know you see our hearts fallen to the ground and want to return them to us wrapped in cloths woven of rainbow.
But have no rainbow.

“GOD IS THE ONE” who has stars and angels and rainbows, and “you”, our families, neighbours, and friends are the ones God sends to comfort us until the angels dry our tears, until the stars come out and our hearts are back in place, rainbow blessed.

Sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone for your prayers, comforting words and every loving act of kindness shown to us in our times of deepest grief.
