Peacefully at the Garden Home on Thursday, September 28, 2017 of Dorothy C. Wakelin (nee Rodd) age 91 years. Dear mother of Sandra Stead (Lowell) and Sheila Wakelin (Johannes Thijsse). Loving grandmother of Troy (Tracey) King and Rachelle (Grant) Compton. Great-grandmother of Taylor Brook and Dale King and Kate and John Thomas Compton. Predeceased by her husband Everett, her mother and father Mary F. and Ernest Rodd and by her sisters Flo and Estelle. Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visitation Saturday from 2 p.m. until time of service. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 3 p.m. Interment to follow in the People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown.
