The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, August 6, 2009, of Ronald Francis Gallant of Miscouche and formerly of Kensington, P.E.I., age 57 years.
Ronnie was born on August 17, 1951, in Greenvale, P.E.I., to his late parents, Edward and Mabel (nee Arsenault) Gallant. Lovingly remembered by his common law wife, Juliette Squarebriggs; his daughter, Lori (Darrell) White of Millet, Alberta; and her mother, Lillian Ingles of Lower Sackville, N.S.; and his special grandson, Zachary White. Survived by his sister, Mildred (Junior) Paynter of North Bay, Ontario, and many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and cousins. Besides his parents, Ronnie was predeceased by brothers, Leroy, Arnold and Francis and half-sister, Angie MacDonald.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Monday, August 10, 2009, for a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
