Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, Sarah S. Reynolds of Broad Cove, age 82 years. Predeceased by parents: Allan and Susannah King. Leaving to mourn, husband: Walter; five daughters: Cynthia (Kenneth) Bailey, Paradise, Gayle Reynolds (Rex Gilbert), Carbonear, Sherry (Donald) Howell, Small Point, Karen (Derrick) White, Blackhead and Jackie Reynolds (Todd Piercey), Small Point; twelve grandchildren: Jennifer, Dawn, Matthew, Jason, Timothy, Jeremy, Emily, Rebecca, Bradley, Courtney, Colan and Alicia; five great-grandchildren: Acacia, Kyra, Ashton, Tyra and Parker; two sisters: Pauline Holland, Halifax, NS and Dorothy Slade (John McLellan), Ontario; sisters-in-law: Jennie Pye, St. John’s and Marguerite Reynolds, USA; brothers-in-law: Rev. Berkley (Velma) Reynolds, Carbonear and Clyde (Gloria) Reynolds, Scarborough, ON; special niece: Barbara (Allan) Somers, Ochre Pit Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay after 2:00 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Cremation to follow. Inurnment in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove.
