Wanda Vanbocquestal of Red Deer, AB formerly of Moose Jaw, SK passed away with family by her side at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on Wednesday, October 3, 2017 at the age of 60. Wanda is predeceased by her parents Roy Harold Thome and Angela Gaetz; sister Beverly Hrechka. She will be sadly missed by her husband Terry; son Shawn (Trisha) Vanbocquestal; brothers Larry (Paulette) Thome and Dale (Colleen) Thome. She will be missed by all the family that Wanda was so close to in her life. Wanda had an excellent career as a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator for Catholic School Boards in Moose Jaw, Winnipeg and Red Deer. Wanda had a special relationship with the Lord that enriched her life and her love for family. Wanda had a love for music, live theater, the arts, and spending time reading, doing needle point and knitting. Wanda had a gentle, kind personality and loved to laugh; everyone close to her knew this about her. A Celebration of Wanda’s life will be held on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM at W. J. Jones Chapel, 106 Athabasca St E., Moose Jaw. Reverend Dave Moore will officiate. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.
