In Memory of Wilbert Brian Stubbert, who passed away one year ago, April 26/2010.
I walked along the shore line,
Thinking of the memories I had,
The sunset behind me,
Tears falling to the sand.
I remember as a child,
Him holding my hand,
While he showed me all the different rocks,
That are hidden beneath the sand.
The smell of the ocean, waves crashing to the shore,
There is not a place that he loved more,
With his plaid jacket and close family roots,
There is not a person I met yet,
That could fill those rubber boots.
In our hearts forever.
