LeBLANC, AMANDA - 1917 - 2011 - Amanda LeBlanc, 93, of Bouctouche passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Thursday, April 21st, 2011. She was married to the late Willie LeBlanc (2001). Born in Bouctouche on May 13th, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Augustin and the late Christine (Cormier) LeBlanc. She will be sadly missed by her seven children, Raymonde Allain (Bernard) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Fernande Belliveau (Emile) of Shediac, Aurella Manuel (Denis) and Denise Arsenault of Moncton, Léo-Paul (Thérèse), Bernard (Pauline), and Fernand (Claudette) of Bouctouche, ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn three sisters, Lizianne Thibodeau of Gardner, MA., Sylvarine LeBlanc of Montreal, and Hélène LeBlanc of Bouctouche and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Délima and Viola and three brothers, Wilfred, Raymond and Willie.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Friday, April 22nd, 2011 from 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral service will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Saturday, April 23rd, 2011 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Amanda’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation.
