BLAUVELT (Fletcher), Bessie Adrianna – 90, of East Brenton, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully at Yarmouth Regional Hospital on April 15, 2011. Born December 26, 1920, in South Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Everette and Emma (Jenness) Fletcher. A Loving mother and grandmother she thought the world of her family. She was a member of the Brazil Lake Wesleyan Church and she loved the outdoors and country life. She loved to sing and yodel and was most content in the gardens and blueberry fields. She is survived by her 9 daughters; Eleanor Blauvelt, East Brenton; Ginny (Eric) Smith, Westfield N.B; Gail (Sandy) Bain, Hebron; Mary (Victor) Robicheau, Saint John N.B; Susie (Alfred) Comeau, Meteghan; Ruth (David) Freeman, Brazil Lake; Bobbie (Glenn) Muise, Yarmouth; Sandra Smith, South Ohio; Tracey (Randy) Blauvelt, Cape Forchu; Six sons; Franklyn Jr. (Debbie), East Brenton; James (Ann), Pleasant Valley; John (Patsy), Deerfield; Paul (Ellie), South Ohio; Peter (Stella), South Ohio; David (Barb), Brazil Lake; Brothers, Randolf Fletcher, South Ohio; Sisters, Dorothy & Shirley Knowles, Ontario; forty four Grandchildren, 35 Great-Grandchildren, and two Great Great-Grandsons. She is predeceased by husband Franklyn Blauvelt; Son, Douglas; Daughter, Velma; Sisters, Evelyn Haycock; Margaret Sweeney; Infant sisters, Emma & May Fletcher; Brothers, William, Frank, and Donald Fletcher, and an infant Grandson. Visitation took place on Monday, April 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, April 19 at 2 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Karl Gorman officiated. Interment followed in Hillside Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
