We the family of the late Charles Lyons, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to our families, friends and neighbours for their love and support throughout our sad and challenging time. Words cannot express our appreciation for the compassion and kindness shown to us. We are grateful to those who sent cards, phoned, emailed and brought food. Those who travelled to be here with us, those who made donations in his memory your thoughtfulness will be remembered.
Thank you to Rev. Allan MacLellan for a beautiful service, to Donnie Campbell for your gift of music, to the Seniors and Pensioners Club and the Cape Breton Antique Custom Car Club for the Honour Guard, Charlie would have been so proud. Thank you to pallbearers Errol Jewells, Gordon Spencer Sr., Darryl MacNeil, Kevin Nearing, Ryan Rehberg and Charles Murrant.
Thank you to Nurses and Doctor in Glace Bay ER dept., EHS, third south Palliative care team, words cannot say enough for the care you gave Charlie, V.O.N who came to our home, to Michelle Kelly R.N of Palliative Care and her team of Doctors who kept Charlie comfortable. To Dr. Kodogoda of the Cancer Center, Dr. H. Asim for the care over the years, to Dr. Gordon Spencer Thank you there are no words to express our appreciation for the wonderful care, you treated him with compassion and dignity.
