Herbert William Pennell of Paradise passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit at the age of 73. Predeceased by parents Florence and Walter Pennell, brother Melvin, parents-in-law Eleanor and Baxter Tiller, brother-in-law Jeff Tilley, nephew Rick Tilley and his precious daughter Tina. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of over 50 years Una, daughter Tracey (Dave), grandchildren Nick (Nooli), Alexzandra (Sean) and Amelia and their father Derek Roberts, Zachary and Mackenzie (Ian) and their father John Brenton, brothers Locke (Marion), Ches (Janet), Walter Jr., Mac (Jackie), Nelson, Jim, sisters Florence (Jeff), Joan, Lilly (Nelson), Doreen (Bud), Ruby (Pat), Jane, Janet, Brenda (Phil), Michelle (Mike), brothers-in-law Boyd (Barb), Barry (Judy), Keith, sister-in-law Lorraine (Reg), very special friends Bill and Freda Grandy, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends including his golf buddies and staff of the Willows at Holyrood. At Herb's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation at James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Friday, 2 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm, Saturday, 10 am - 12 noon. Funeral service at All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2 pm with interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn's Hill Road, Foxtrap.
