Passed peacefully away at St. Luke’s Homes on Thursday, April 21, 2011, Margaret Hazel Sheppard aged 97 years. Predeceased by husband: Graham; son: David; brother: Walter Lewis. Leaving to mourn sister: Una Barter; daughters: Betty Bussey (Frank) and Leona Reed (Michael); daughter-in-law: Anne Conner Sheppard; grandchildren: Katherine Bussey (Ken), Jonathan Sheppard, Harley Sheppard, Mitchell Sheppard, David Reed (Jennifer), Mark Reed (Angela); four great-grandchildren; special nieces: Heather Barter, Shelley Gill, Elizabeth Lewis; friends: Florence Jordon, Bill Squires and Hazel Perchard. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd.
