It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Annie (Violet) Wheeler announce her passing on Monday, October 16th, 2017 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, with her family by her side, at the age of 95 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Maxine Loder, Doug (Patsy) Wheeler, Sherman (Rosalind) Wheeler, Jocelyn Hamelin, Audrey (Steve) Charron, brother: Earl Murphy, sisters: Ruby Harrison and Lottie (Randy) Janes; sister-in-law: Norma Murphy; daughters-in-law: Ruby Norman and Karen Loder. She was predeceased by her parents Gladys and Robia Murphy, husband Maxwell, sons: Utley and Brian; sons-in-law: Richard and Alvin; sisters: Nina and Gladys; brothers: John and Jim; sisters-in-law: Laura and Theresa. She will also be missed by grandchildren: Peggy, Craig, Paul, Kathy, Nicole, Kim, Mark, Dave, Dale, Adrian, Grant, Veronica, Nadine, Chris, Ryan, and her many great and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Summerside on Wednesday, October 18th and Thursday, October 19th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where Funeral Service will take place on Friday, October 20th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Summerside Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously appreciated or donations may be made in her memory to St. Paul's Anglican Church. A special thank you to all the staff and friends at Bayshore Estates where she spent the last 5 years, the nurses at WMRH on 4B, as well as Dr. Whitten and Dr. Hawley.
