Passed away at Infirmrie Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours on Wednesday, August 5, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late Philip Fitzpatrick and the late Mary Anne Murphy of Torbay, N.L. Four brothers: James, John, Thomas and Leo and one sister Helen predeceased her.
Sister leaves to mourn her sister Helen Dunphy of Torbay, N.L.; a sister-in-law Nell Fitzpatrick of Stephenville, N.L. and many cherished, devoted nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sister Mary began her teaching career of 35 years in the schools of the Montreal area and spent some time in Caraquet, NB, New Haven, Conn., Huntingdon, QC. and Chateauguay, QC. She retired to
Villa Marguerite in 1985 and was transferred to the Infirmrie Notre Dame-de-Bon-Secours in 2009.
The wake will be held at the Salle Marguerite Bourgeoys, 5017 Notre Dame de Grace Avenue, Montreal on Sunday, August 9, 2009 from 7 - 9 p.m. with a vigil service starting at 80 p.m.
The Eucharistic Celebration will take place at Notre Dame de Grace Church, (St. Augustine of Canterbury), 5333 Notre Dame de Grace Avenue, Montreal at 10 a.m. on August 10, 2009.
