It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gwendolyn Mary Lilly announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the age of 80 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 62 years; Charles, sons; Wayne (Daphne), Brian (Donna), and Paul (Rosalind), her 6 grandchildren; Lindsey, Amanda, Kara, Jordan, Adam, and Andrew, her 5 great grandchildren; Kailey, Addele, Kailey, Braedon, and Ryder, her brothers; Terry (Wanda), Derek (Olive), James (Irene) all of Corner Brook, and George of Edmonton, her sisters; Lydia Wright of Ontario, Florence Scranton of Nova Scotia, Judy (Gilbert) Dennis of Ontario, and Iris Anderson of Ontario, her brothers & sisters-in-law, Gertie (Jack) Hickey, John (Brenda) Lilly, Frances Skinner, Vi (Bill) Gardner, Gwen (Dave) Gardner, Melvin (Florence) Lilly, and Reg (Barb) Lilly as well as a nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, one great great nephew, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents; George (1975) and Emily (1994) and her brothers; Levi (1997), Tom (1996). Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, April 24, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Michaels Anglican Church, Park Drive on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with The Venerable Edward King officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
