Passed peacefully away in the loving arms of his wife and daughter on October 26, 2017, Joseph Doody of Admiral's Beach, St. Mary's Bay, in his 84th year. Predeceased by his parents: Albert and Catherine, son Gerard and brothers: Thomas and Albert. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Lillian (nee Hickey) of 56 years, daughter Patsy (Greg), daughter in-law Wanda (Benny), grandchildren: Colin, Chris, Brady, Kendra, Dylan, brother Phonse (Helen), brother-in-law John (Mary), sister-in-law Sister Monica, nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and many, many friends. Resting at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, Admiral's Beach. Visitation on Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 12-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1 pm from Queen of the Holy Rosary Church. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, O'Donnell's.
