Passed peacefully away in Placentia on Sunday, April 24, 2011, aged 79 years. United once again with beloved husband, William, predeceased October, 1999. Predeceased by her parents William and Janet Johnstone, brothers; Daniel and John, sisters Lena and Ina, parents-in-law Duncan and Elizabeth Haldane. Leaving to mourn, daughters Janet (Ned O’Reilly), Margaret Williamina (Gerard O’Reilly), Heather (Brian Bidwell); sons Duncan (Kellie), and Angus (Sheila). Lovingly missed by 13 grandchildren; Kimberley, Jonathan, Gerard (Joyce), Edward (Kayla), Melanie (Gerry), Patrick (Vanessa), Kelly, Amanda (Jason), Peggy (Warren), James (Olivia), Mark, Megan and Robin; two step-grandsons Nicholas and Justin; also her precious great-grandchildren Lily-Belle, Jack, William, Allison, and James and special little pooch Abby. Also leaving to mourn her beloved sister Mary and two sisters-in-law, Kathleen Haldane and Betty Haldane, all who live in Scotland, numerous nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Scotland. Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation on Tuesday April 26, 2011 from 2-5p.m. and 7-9p.m. Funeral mass to take place on Wednesday April 27, 2011 at 2p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia.
