SMITH, Sybil Mary (née Fitton) - Peacefully, at Cornwall Hospice on Thursday, October 26, 2017; age 89 years. Loving wife of the late Vernon Smith (2003). Beloved mother of Antony "Tony" Smith (Lila) of Moncton NB, Jeffrey Smith (Sandra) of Gananoque and Elaine McCrimmon of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Todd McCrimmon (Diane), Heidi Legault (Ron), Tricia McCrimmon, Jessica Smith and Hailey Davis (Adam) and great-grandmother of Macey McCrimmon, Tanner McCrimmon, Lehia Legault, Brandon Legault and Mitchel Legault. She will be sadly missed by her dear friend Yvon LeClaire. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Ruth (née Twist) Fitton. Sybil worked close to 40 years at Domtar in data processing and was actively involved during that time with the Union. Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) on Monday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of Funeral. Funeral, Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
