Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family at the Health Science Centre, on Monday, October 30, 2017, at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by his granddaughter Elvie O'Grady, parents Archibald and Elizabeth (nee Somerton) Miller, four brothers and six sisters. Leaving to mourn his wife of 64 years Joyce, children Darlene Miller, Katherine Miller (Michael Caines), grandsons Glen Miller and Shane O'Grady, great-granddaughters Alyssa-Jane and Rihanna, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 from 1-9 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation in the Carnell Memorial Chapel, on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 at 2 p.m with inurnment to follow in the St. Lawrence Anglican Cemetery, Portugal Cove.
