It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a special lady, Susannah Jane LeGrow (Whalen), at Pleasant View Towers in the presence of her loving family on November 3, 2017, at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by parents John and Gladys, brothers Gordon and Chesley, sister Blanche, daughter-in-law Susan and sister-in-law Lorna. Leaving to mourn devoted husband Joseph for 62 beautiful years; children Dawn (Dan), Alf (Marie), Perry, Dean (Lynn), Lorna (George), Sherry (Darryl); grandchildren Stephanie, Angela, Michael, Wendy, Roy, Brent, Mark, Joey, Crystal, Candace and Nathan; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Betty (Jack), Marion (Eric); brother Cecil, sister in-law Laura, sister in-law Dorcas; many close friends and acquaintances that are too many to mention individually. The family would like to commend the staff of 3 North West at Pleasant View Towers for the amazing care and love they gave our beautiful mother during her stay. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Saturday, November 4 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, November 5 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Bauline United Church on Monday, November 6 at 2 p.m. Flowers greatly appreciate or donations made to the Bauline United Church.
