Floyd Willis Murray age 80 of Acadia Ave., Stellarton passed away on November 6, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Tatamagouche he was a son of the late Douglas and Bonita (Bailey) Murray.
Floyd worked in the construction industry as a painter for many years. He loved the outdoors spending time in his yard working at his flowers, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife the former Phyllis Carrigan; sons Anthony “Tony”, New Glasgow; Blaine (Melinda), Westville; grandchildren Ben and Reese; sister Marie Roode, Tatamagouche; brother Al Murray, Ontario.
He was predeceased by brothers Ray, Bob and Brian.
Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens with Pastor Gordon Wheeler officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
