It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Glen Stephen Gillis, 59, of Denton Texas on Friday, November 3, 2017, as a result of a heart attack. Glen was born August 22 1958, in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and initially moved to Red Deer Alberta before his move to Gainesville and later Denton Texas.
Glen graduated from Saint Michael High School in Glace Bay and went on to further his studies at the University of North Texas where he earned his Doctorate (PHD) in Biochemistry, one of the proudest moments of his life.
