Kristiansen
The death occurred peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, of Jean Kristiansen, of St. Eleanors, aged 93 years. Born in North St. Eleanors, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Gertrude (Mills) Compton. Survived by her daughters Ruth (Allen) Lewis, Alberton; Mae Milligan (Grant McMillan), Summerside; Doris (Eric) Dyment, Tyne Valley; Beverley (Douglas) Breen, Belmont Lot 16; Brenda (Brian) Beaton, Bedeque; sons Roy (Grace) Kristiansen, Freetown; Wilfred (Elizabeth) Kristiansen, Middlesex, NB; 30 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; special nephew Darby (Laverne) Brown; and by numerous other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Paul Kristiansen; daughter Ethel; son Ernest; grandchildren Glenn and Tracy; brothers Holden and Crealman Compton; and by her sister Marie Brown. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Friday, at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors. Visiting hours Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. John’s Anglican Church would be appreciated.
