The death occurred at Whisperwood Villa on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, of Mrs. Dolores A. McNeill (nee Dowling) of Charlottetown in her 82nd year.
Beloved wife of Eugene, and dear mother of Donald "Sugar Bear", Kent "Cagey", Michael (Linda), Sandy (Gordie) McConnell, Mary Teresa "M.T." (Ron) Young, Scott (Andrea), and Shawn. She will also be lovingly remembered by 7 grandchildren Michelle, Melissa and Jenna Young, Greg McConnell and Diana (Nick) Hatt, Brianna and Karina McNeill, 1 great-grandchild Ellison Hatt, brothers Leo "Junior" (Sis) Dowling and Kelvin Dowling, sisters Phyllis (Ralph "Farmer") Josey and Sheila Thomson.
Predeceased by her parents Leo and Esther (Doncaster); brother James; infant son, Richard Wayne; infant granddaughters, Emma and Olivia McNeill.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 a.m. Friday, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at The Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
